We are having our yearly non-alcoholic drink to bring in the new year!!! My New Years Resolution is to watch less T.V. And spend more time with God. What's yours?

My poor son has had a fever for 2 days now... His gums are swollen because he is teething like crazy!!! Poor little guy. I really need to clean up the house and do some laundry.

Good news... Alex gets paid after all because of people paying their rent on time. :D It's a long story and I'm not going to post it but let's just say some people have sticky fingers and LIE....

Alex's mom's husband, his mom and sister are coming in January so we still have one more Christmas gathering. I am so ready to take my Christmas stuff down as it's been up since before Thanksgiving. :) We put it up early because we were gone for Thanksgiving and I wanted to enjoy it for a month instead of just a few days...

Oh our table is almost done!!!! Alex is redoing an old wooden table his grandpa had. His grandpa passed away so it's like a part of him is still with Alex. I will take pictures when it is finished. It is looking nice. We are even putting brand new tile on the top. And the color of the table we painted black. We are leaving some of it brown and need to paint it because it's all scratched. I should have taken before pictures... It's hard to explain it but you will understand it when I get pics up.

We are in a winter Advisory starting at 7 tonight. The weather has been pretty nice the last couple of days. And one day we had thunderstorms... This weather has been crazy.

TRYING to get organized!!!! It is REALLY late but I needed to clean my office. It was a mess!!!! scrabooking stuff everywhere... So I bought myself a nice scrapbooking organizer bag. :) I really like it and it's cute. :) Alex thought I was bringing out a new purse. haha!!! He thought I gave up looking for an organizer and bought a purse instead. I also bought some darling scrabooking things for boys.. Stickers and paper. Finding stuff for boys is sooo hard because everything is PINK!!!! I am almost done with the office and will be off to do the kitchen *SIGH* Our kitchen looks like a tornado hit it!!!

Do things disappear around your house? between our cat and son pieces of toys and such seem to disappear. Then out of no where things show up again... LOL Sometimes Elijah hides them and knows where they are while mommy looks all over the house! Then one day he decides he wants to play with it again and there it is.... LOL So when things disappear I just pretty much know they are somewhere...

UHGG!!! Why do things have to go so wrong sometimes??? I am not going into detail but let's just say some days go WAAAY better then others...

My hubby is done with school for like 3 weeks now!!! YAY!!!! It will be nice having him here (mentally). :D He is here physically as he takes online classes, but mentally he is on the computer and hits the books.

I need to finish getting my Christmas cards done and send them. I DO have a couple more gifts to wrap after all. I forgot to wrap my hubby's. OOPS!!!!

Well I need to go finish the dishes for now.

Snowed in!

Well Alex and I had a great Anniversary. I made my mom's stuffing/dressing, homemade mash potatoes and corn. So we had a nice Dinner. :D We got like a foot of snow so we didn't pick up my picture yesterday and we didn't even go to church today as we were snowed in.. All in all things have been good though. :) We didn't let the bad weather ruin anything as we were together as a family and that's more important then anything... I am sooo excited for Christmas to get here I feel like a little kid again.

Alex shoveled the snow so at least we can now get out and go places.

Oh and Happy 15 months to our son! I can't believe he is 15 months old already

Happy 4 year Anniversary to my wonderful hubby! :D

We are in some type of blizzard! There is sooo much snow on the ground. I hope we will be able to pic up our pictures.

I'm so glad it's Friday! Today I am making the dressing as I now have the ingredients for it! I hope it turns out yummy! :D

Today I will be cleaning our house! I try to get it done before Friday so I don't have too much to do before the Sabbath. :D Elijah and I are also going to go grocery shopping because my mom just gave me her dressing recipe and I want to try it out before I make it for Christmas Dinner. We won't be the only ones eating it then... Gotta make sure it tastes good.

My hubby is sooo busy! Tomorrow is his last day of class then he is DONE for 3 weeks!!!! YAY!!!! We are going to hang out and get stuff done around the house. He is going to finish our table!!! :D And then do some other odds and ends. It will be sooo nice having my hubby back. He will still have to work, but when he is off work he is ALL OURS! I'm sooo excited! Christmas is a week from today! :D YAY!!!

Well I need to get going and make myself somewhat decent looking. :P

So my mom bought us the game Candy Land! We let Elijah open it up tonight so we could play! :) Needless to say my husband beat me twice! BOO!!!!

The Day after tomorrow is our 4 year Anniversary so Saturday night we are going to a Mexican Restaurant. :D Elijah is going with us but that's ok.

Christmas Day we will heading to hubby's dads. That should be fun...

I'm sooo glad my Christmas shopping is done and the gifts are wrapped! Now all I have to finish is the cards, but I am waiting on our pics for that. We will be picking them up Friday, our Anniversary!

I'ts been a while since I have posted on here but I think I am coming back to blog spot. I would love to meet some people on here so feel free to get in touch! My sister is also on here and I really would love to keep in touch with her more.

Sad News

My grandpa passed away so it's been kind of a rough week for us all. The good news from the bad is that I get to see my parents as my dad is doing the funeral service. He's a pastor! :) It will be good to see them, however I am not good with funerals. We went to see my grandpa right before he died. That was hard enough for me because he was getting stiff and cold. He pretty much looked dead except he was breathing. He could not even close his mouth. It reminded me so much of what my other grandpa looked like right after he died. I'm not good with death but I'm getting better. I am surprised I even kissed my grandpa's cheek. That was even scary for me but it was my last goodbye. I am overcoming my fear of death.

One day soon we will see all our loved ones! I can't wait for that day! :D
